Goat Girl have announced a new EP titled 'Below The Waste - Orchestrated', featuring orchestral reimaginings of four tracks from their third album 'Below The Waste'.
The South London band have worked with a DIY chamber ensemble featuring members of Aga Ujma and Slow Cooked to create new versions of selected tracks from their Rough Trade-released record. The EP was recorded and mixed at Total Refreshment Centre by Syd Kemp and mastered by Harvel Birrell.
The first track to emerge from the collection is 'sleep talk (chamber ensemble)', which replaces the original's mellotron parts with string quartet arrangements.
