About Car Seat Headrest

Car Seat Headrest is an American indie rock band formed in Leesburg, Virginia, and based in Seattle, Washington. The band was initially a solo project by Will Toledo, who began recording under the name in 2010. Between 2010 and 2014, Toledo self-released 12 projects on Bandcamp. In 2015, the band signed with Matador Records. The group expanded to include Ethan Ives, Seth Dalby, and Andrew Katz, and began touring as a full band in 2016. Since then, they have released seven additional albums.
