CARL COX

Carl Cox is a British house and techno DJ, radio DJ, record producer, and motorsport team owner. He was born on 29 July 1962. Cox has performed at numerous clubs and electronic music events worldwide. He hosted a residency called "Music is Revolution" at the Space Ibiza nightclub every summer from 2001 to 2016. He has featured his own "Carl Cox & Friends" stage at festivals such as Ultra Music Festival, The BPM Festival, and Tomorrowland. Cox served as a monthly DJ for BBC Radio 1's Essential Mix. He founded the record label Intec Digital around 1998, originally known as Intec Records. He also hosted a radio show and podcast titled Global from 2001 until February 2017. In 2018, Cox established Awesome Soundwave, a record label focused on live electronic music artists, with producer Christopher Coe. He has received numerous awards and nominations throughout his career. Cox resides in Frankston, Victoria, Australia.
