CUMGIRL8

Cumgirl8 is an American post-punk band and multi-media collective based in Manhattan, New York. The group was founded in 2019 by Lida Fox, Veronika Vilim, Avishag Cohen Rodrigues, and Chase Lombardo, also known as Chase Noelle. They describe themselves as a "sex-positive alien amoeba entity" and produce work across music, film, publishing, and fashion. Their music serves as an outlet for repressed and pent-up emotions, and their artistic practice is influenced by opposition to patriarchy and capitalism. The band began performing live shows and releasing songs prior to the COVID-19 pandemic. During quarantine, they created The 1–900, a lo-fi, unfiltered talk show on YouTube that discusses sociopolitical issues with guests appearing over webcam. In 2023, they signed with the independent label 4AD and released the EP phantasea pharm in August of that year. Their debut studio album, The 8th Cumming, was released on October 4, 2024.
