English Teacher is an English indie rock band that formed in 2020. The group includes vocalist Lily Fontaine, guitarist Lewis Whiting, drummer Douglas Frost, and bassist Nicholas Eden. In 2024, they won the Mercury Music Prize for their debut studio album, This Could Be Texas, released through Island Records.
