

Curtis Harding is an American singer and songwriter born on June 11, 1979, in Saginaw, Michigan. His family moved to Atlanta during his teenage years. Harding was exposed to music early in life through his family, who toured with his mother, a gospel singer. In the 2000s, he provided backing vocals for CeeLo Green. In 2009, he formed the band Night Sun in Atlanta, which included members of the Black Lips. Harding's music is primarily classified as soul, characterized by a style he describes as "slop 'n' soul," which incorporates elements of blues, gospel, psychedelia, R&B, and rock. His debut album, Soul Power, was released in 2014, followed by Face Your Fear in 2017, which featured production by Danger Mouse and Sam Cohen.
