Gigi Perez, born Gianna Brielle Perez on February 4, 2000, is an American singer-songwriter. She was born in New Jersey to Cuban parents and raised in Florida. Perez gained popularity on TikTok with her songs 'Celene' and 'Sometimes (Backwood).' She was signed to Interscope Records, releasing the 2023 EP How to Catch a Falling Knife. After leaving the label, she released 'Sailor Song,' which peaked at number 22 on the Billboard Hot 100 and reached the top of the charts in Ireland, Latvia, and the United Kingdom. The song also charted within the top ten in countries including New Zealand and Norway. Perez has supported artists such as Coldplay, Noah Cyrus, Girl in Red, d4vd, and Hozier on tour.
