
SOMBR has dropped ‘Potential’, following its Coachella debut
Interpol, The Last Dinner Party, and Dove Cameron among confirmed support acts for his US tour.

Sombr, born Shane Michael Boose on July 5, 2005, is an American singer, songwriter, and record producer. He released his debut single, 'Nothing Left to Say,' in 2021. His first extended play, 'In Another Life,' was released in 2023 through Warner Records and his own imprint SMB. In 2025, Sombr released his debut studio album, 'I Barely Know Her,' which featured the singles 'Back to Friends' and 'Undressed,' both of which reached the top 20 of the Billboard Global 200 and the Billboard Hot 100, and charted within the top ten in multiple countries. He also released two follow-up singles, 'We Never Dated' and '12 to 12.' Sombr received nominations for Best New Artist at the 68th Grammy Awards and the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards. He was also nominated in two additional categories at the VMAs, winning Best Alternative Video for 'Back to Friends.' In 2026, he released the single 'Homewrecker,' his first release since his debut album.
