

Emma Lee Bunton, born on 21 January 1976, is an English singer, actress, and media personality. She gained prominence in the mid-1990s as a member of the pop group the Spice Girls, where she was nicknamed Baby Spice as the youngest member. The group sold over 100 million records worldwide and is recognized as the best-selling female group of all time. The Spice Girls went on an indefinite hiatus in 2000 and later reunited for a greatest hits album in 2007, along with two concert tours: the Return of the Spice Girls (2007–2008) and Spice World (2019). Bunton launched a solo career with her debut album, A Girl Like Me (2001), which reached number four on the UK Albums Chart and was certified gold by the British Phonographic Industry. The album included singles such as "What Took You So Long?", "What I Am", and "Take My Breath Away". Her second album, Free Me (2004), featured the top-five single "Free Me" and the top-ten singles "Maybe" and "I'll Be There". Her third album, Life in Mono (2006), produced the single "Downtown".
