Pond's eleventh album arrives via the band's own Mangovision imprint

Pond is an Australian psychedelic rock band from Perth, Western Australia, formed in 2008. The band initially featured a revolving line-up, but since 2016 has consisted of Nick Allbrook, Jay Watson, Shiny Joe Ryan, Jamie Terry, and James Ireland. Members of Pond are closely associated with the Perth-based band Tame Impala, with Watson and Ireland being full-time members of both groups. Allbrook contributed to Tame Impala from 2009 to 2013 before leaving to focus on Pond and his solo career. Ryan serves as a crew member for Tame Impala's live performances and also has a solo career. Watson and Ireland also release solo albums under the names GUM and Ginoli, respectively. Several former members of Pond, including Kevin Parker, Cam Avery, and Julien Barbagallo, have been part of Tame Impala. Parker continued to work with Pond as its record producer until 2020, when the band began producing independently. Avery collaborated with Allbrook as the duo Allbrook/Avery.
