All Points East 2026: Nell Mescal is nearly home, if she can find one first

She's spent four years writing brilliant songs about leaving - school, Ireland, friendships, the lot. New single 'Settles' is the first one about staying put, and it arrives with a flat hunt and a summer that includes a sold-out show at Lorde's All Points East. Funny how these things work out.

Australian five-piece Pond have announced a string of North American live dates supporting Djo this summer, alongside the release of new single 'Terrestrials'. Tickets go on sale 20th March.

Arriving with an accompanying video produced by Jesse Taylor Smith, 'Terrestrials' marks the group's first new material since their tenth album 'Stung!'. The track explores what the band describe as the mystery of humanity's capacity for both love and cruelty.

Discussing the song, frontman Nicholas Allbrook said: "Gum wrote the music for this one and we recorded this in Mullumbimby with Julian Abbott at Nowave studio. This song is about the weirdest of all the terrestrials, people. Hellbent on flying away from or killing our home soil, with a big appetite for destruction, guns, roses. We can love and connect and nurture and inflict unbearable cruelty. You all know this but, yeah, it's kind of a great mystery isn't it? It's almost more supernatural than extraterrestrials. Which is probably why we wrote this song. There aren't many of us who can forget for even a second about the unborn tomorrows and dead yesterdays but among them are, apparently, kids and people in love. My cousin Iz helped write this with our chats."

Djo is the musical project of actor and songwriter Joe Keery. Pond will join him across five dates in July, taking in stops from Pittsburgh to Richmond.

The dates in full read:

JULY
14 Stage AE, Pittsburgh, PA
17 Forest Hills Stadium, Forest Hills, NY
21 Thompson's Point, Portland, ME
23 Artpark Amphitheatre, Lewiston, NY
31 Allianz Amphitheatre at the Riverfront, Richmond, VA

"You can't tell me what to do": Yard Act have found their freedom

There was a time when Yard Act felt like they had to keep running just to stay where they were. Now, with third album ‘You’re Gonna Need a Little Music’, they’re embracing uncertainty, trusting their own judgement and letting the songs take them wherever they end up.
