Spector is a British indie rock band from London. The band consists of Frederick Macpherson (vocals), Jed Cullen (guitar), Nicolas Py (drums), and Danny Blandy (keyboard, formerly drums). Macpherson previously performed with Les Incompétents and Ox.Eagle.Lion.Man. Spector has released five albums and one compilation. Their debut album, Enjoy It While It Lasts, reached number 12 on the UK Albums Chart and topped the Official Record Store Chart in its release week.

The band kick off their UK run tonight (29th March) in Huddersfield.
A cry goes out just before the famous doors of the Moth Club open for Spector tonight. "Fetch the gammon, quick!" Someone is dispatched to the big Tesco at haste. The great indie survivors could, nay should, have been playing the O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire this weekend. Instead, they're dealing in meat and dealing with us (not the same thing) as Dork puts on a Night Out for them in Hackney.
It'll take place at London's Moth Club this coming Thursday (13th January).
Back with their first album in six years, indie darlings Spector are a testament to hard work and not giving up.
Spector are expanding out the Spector Musical Universe with a new album, due later this year.

"I thought it would be funny to jump the gun and create the experience while the records are still both quite recent," explains Fred Macpherson.
