Sufjan Stevens will release a deluxe anniversary edition of 'Carrie & Lowell' featuring unreleased demos, an art book, and worldwide listening events.

Sufjan Stevens (born July 1, 1975) is an American singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. He has released ten solo studio albums and several collaborative works. Stevens co-founded the Asthmatic Kitty label, which released his debut album, A Sun Came, in 2000. His 2005 album Illinois achieved commercial success, reaching number one on the Billboard Top Heatseekers chart, and features the single "Chicago." He contributed to the soundtrack of the 2017 film Call Me by Your Name, receiving an Academy Award nomination for Best Original Song and a Grammy nomination for Best Song Written for Visual Media for the track "Mystery of Love." Stevens' discography includes albums with diverse styles, such as the electronica of The Age of Adz, the lo-fi folk of Seven Swans, and the orchestral arrangements of Illinois and Songs for Christmas. He often performs multiple instruments on his recordings. His music explores themes including religion and spirituality. His tenth studio album, Javelin, was released in October 2023.
