
U.S. Girls has unveiled 'You've Got Everything - But A Smile (Theme From Dead Lover)'
Meg Remy's theremin-laced waltz co-written with Raconteurs' Jack Lawrence is her first venture into composing for film.

U.S. Girls is a Toronto-based experimental pop project formed in 2007 by American musician and record producer Meghan Remy. She released music on various independent record labels before signing to 4AD in 2015. Her first album for 4AD, Half Free, was released that year and received a Juno Award nomination for Alternative Album of the Year at the 2016 Juno Awards, as well as being a shortlisted finalist for the 2016 Polaris Music Prize. Her subsequent albums, In a Poem Unlimited (2018) and Heavy Light (2020), also received similar accolades. Remy collaborates with Toronto-based musicians on both songwriting and music production.
