
Greg Calbi is an American mastering engineer and a senior figure at Sterling Sound, with a career that began in the early 1970s at the Record Plant and has since taken in thousands of albums. He cut his teeth on records by John Lennon, David Bowie and Bruce Springsteen, and became known for mastering punk and new-wave classics before settling into a long tenure at Sterling Sound, of which he became part-owner in the late 1990s. On Dork his name sits beside Bob Dylan, David Byrne, The National, Interpol, Tame Impala, Kacey Musgraves and Kurt Vile. Decades on, he remains one of the most credited mastering engineers around.
