With a debut EP that pulls no punches and a Live at Leeds slot on the horizon, Fletchr Fletchr are flying out the gates.

It's barely been a year since Fletchr Fletchr played their first pub gigs, but the momentum behind the Cornish quartet is already undeniable. They've sold out grassroots venues, released the urgent and hook-heavy debut single 'Jet Black', and somehow played a literal stadium. With their debut EP 'We All Feel the Same' on the way and a slot at Live at Leeds: In the City just around the corner, they're itching to make good on the promise.
"We've been rehearsing and writing in preparation for our November tour," frontman Rohan Fletcher says. "We just got back from a show in Amsterdam and are having a chill before heading off again."
The band formed around Rohan, lead guitarist and producer Adam Sanders, drummer Oli Williams and bassist George Green, who was pulled into the band just days before his first show. The name Fletchr Fletchr is a tribute to Rohan's late father, and a nod to the makeshift family that's formed around the group. "When Adam moved into my family home and worked at our pub, mates started saying he was basically a Fletcher too," Rohan explains.

They didn't all grow up in musical households, but music found them anyway. "My parents ran pubs for my whole life," Rohan says. "My dad used to make me sing at every karaoke bar on holiday, and then on New Year's Eve at the staff party he'd throw." Adam got a guitar for his 14th birthday and never put it down. George saw Dave Grohl at Wembley and decided there and then that this was the life. Oli used drums as an outlet for everything going on while growing up. Even from their first show, they only wanted to play originals.
That honesty still defines everything they do. "All our songs have to do with real-life situations," Rohan says. "We pride ourselves on being very open, and sometimes I think the songs are conversational, like I'm speaking directly to the person listening."
Their debut EP explores love, heartbreak, grief and growing pains. "'We All Feel the Same' is meant to tell people they're not alone," Rohan says. "Even if we think we might be in it on our own, we all share similar problems." Making it wasn't easy. Rohan's dad passed away during the writing process, and the band ended up recording the EP three times to get it right. "It became our escape," he says. "It made us the band we are today."
That emotional focus has already carried them through some surreal moments. "Playing Tottenham Hotspur Stadium was not on our bucket list for 2025," he laughs. "We'd only played rooms of 400 max, so it was a massive jump. But when we walked on and played like we'd been up there before, it was a moment we realised where we could take the band."
Next up is Live at Leeds: In the City. It's their first time playing the festival, but it already feels like home turf. "It's our first year doing festivals, and we've come to really love the city ones," Rohan says. "There's this feeling that all the bands are coming up together. It's exciting seeing that the UK scene is buzzing again."
They're especially keen to catch Flipturn and Radio Free Alice. "Flipturn were my favourite band of last year. We just missed them in Amsterdam. His voice is unbelievable."
Festivals, for Fletchr Fletchr, are about connection and discovery. "These smaller ones really bring out the people who care and dive into music," Rohan says. "No one's there to muck around. They come to find their new favourite artist."

Looking ahead, 2026 is already on their minds. "We're planning to kick things into another gear. We've got loads more music ready to go and we want to play as much as we possibly can." Stadiums and beyond? "As far as it can possibly go. That's the dream."
For now, though, it's about staying present. Adam and George are both surfers. Rohan's busy walking his dog, Fender. Oli's idea of fun is, of course, playing drums.
The EP is just around the corner. The tour is locked in. The songs are loaded with heart and built for the stage.
"We'd love to see you all there."
