ALT BLK ERA dive into disorientation on their new single, ‘Lost In The Back Of My Mind’
The Nottingham siblings gear up for 'Our World' EP and UK headline dates.

Nottingham siblings Nyrobi and Chaya Beckett-Messam, better known as ALT BLK ERA, have put out a new track called 'Lost In The Back Of My Mind' via LAB Records. It serves as the latest offering from their upcoming EP 'Our World', due on 22nd May.
Arriving as the pair's first body of work since debut album 'Rave Immortal', the EP lands during a busy period for ALT BLK ERA. A second MOBO nomination for Best Alternative has come their way, and a UK headline tour is on the horizon following a run of dates supporting Pendulum.
Speaking about the new track, Nyrobi said: "We're living in a world where waking up can feel like we're stepping into a nightmare. That's why we wrote Lost In The Back of My Mind to capture the haunting feeling of trying to reconnect with lost parts of ourselves while we try to connect with others. We don't know if what we're experiencing is a dream, nightmare or reality. Everything feels out of reach and difficult to comprehend so our imagination is a refuge."
Discussing the wider project, Chaya added: "We're really excited about the 'Our World' EP. It's a reflection of how we feel with all of the chaos that we're living through right now."
