Been Stellar have shared ‘Always On My Mind’ from their new ‘Breakway’ EP

Been Stellar have released a new single, ‘Always On My Mind’, and announced a ‘Breakway’ EP collecting recent tracks, ahead of Reading & Leeds this week.

The track follows ‘Adored’ and ‘Breakway’ from earlier this year. All three songs, alongside an acoustic version of ‘Adored’, will appear on the ‘Breakway’ EP, which will be available on 12″ vinyl and cassette via Dirty Hit. The release arrives off the back of the group’s debut album, ‘Scream from New York, NY’, which is out now.

“We were really drawn to the circular logic of the lyric: ‘I need you, I want you because you’re always on my mind,’” shares vocalist Sam Slocum. “My favorite love songs can be read a few different ways. I think it’s great when there’s a tinge of sadness or anxiety— it just feels more accurate to me.”
