Biffy Clyro look like they’re teasing a surprise Glasgow show under former name Screwfish

The show has appeared on Ticketmaster under their former name, with tickets now available for purchase.

Artists: Biffy Clyro

Biffy Clyro look set to play a last-minute concert at Glasgow’s SWG3 tomorrow (21st May) under their early moniker Screwfish.

The Scottish trio have listed the show on Ticketmaster under their former name, with tickets now available for purchase. The concert appears to be a warm-up show ahead of their appearance at BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend on 23rd May.

The band have maintained a relatively quiet profile since their last album ‘The Myth Of The Happily Ever After’, released in 2021, which followed their 2020 LP ‘A Celebration Of Endings’. Earlier this year, they shared a brief clip on social media showing Simon Neil and twin brothers James and Ben Johnston walking towards a door, accompanied by the caption ‘Back at it’.

During their time away from Biffy Clyro, frontman Simon Neil has been working on various projects, including Empire State Bastard, a grindcore collaboration with Oceansize’s Mike Vennart, Slayer’s Dave Lombardo, and Bitch Falcon’s Naomi Macleod.
