Irish newcomers Bleech 9:3 reflect on loss with their new single 'Jacky'
The band will support Cardinals in Nijmegen on November 29, after their dates with Shame.

Bleech 9:3 have shared their latest single 'Jacky', released today via Ra-Ra Rok Records.
The Irish four-piece, who recently toured with Keo, are currently supporting Shame on tour. The band also recently announced three London headline shows, all of which sold out in just 18 minutes.
Headed by Baz Quinlan on vocals and guitar, alongside Sam Duffy on guitar, the pair first met at an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting, where Quinlan became Duffy's sponsor. "I think the vulnerability of those meetings helped us be a lot more comfortable with each other from the get go," they reflect.
Discussing the new single, Quinlan explains, "To me it is in part about my own life and in part the lives of those with whom I shared the illness of drug addiction with as a young person back home in Dublin. Though it is not specifically about being an addict, that’s just one way people lose themselves and too often their lives. I’m talking about that loss and the difficulty with understanding it."
