Dublin-formed four-piece
Bleech 9:3 have confirmed their self-titled debut EP will arrive on 15th May through Polydor Records. Alongside the announcement, the band have released
'Underrated'.At the heart of Bleech 9:3 are songwriters Baz Quinlan (vocals/guitar) and Sam Duffy (guitar), whose partnership began when the two crossed paths at a 12-step rehab programme, where Baz took on the role of Sam's sponsor.
Discussing 'Underrated', Baz explains: "I wrote it at the end of 2024, it was one of the first Bleech songs that we jammed back then. Bad worship is a theme that runs through the EP. I felt driven to write about how it twists love into something else. How the twisting becomes the thing that you end up wanting."
The five-track EP comprises
'Jacky', 'Underrated', 'Cannonball', 'No Surprise' and
'Ceiling'. Bleech 9:3 have also mapped out an extensive touring schedule stretching through to September, taking in a sold-out Scala date in London, festival slots at The Great Escape, Latitude, and Reading & Leeds, plus support appearances with Keo, Wunderhorse and Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds.
