Blood Wizard have shared "thicker and fuller" new single, 'I Know You Well'
The EP 'Lucky Life' arrives in April via Sad Club Records

Blood Wizard have dropped 'I Know You Well', the latest offering from their forthcoming EP 'Lucky Life', due out on 16th April via Sad Club Records. The track follows previously released cuts 'Daydreaming' and 'Lick The Big Star'.
Speaking about the new track, Cai from Blood Wizard said: "I Know You Well is about the people that I know and love the most, and the side effects of having that almost psychic connection with them. It feels different to earlier Blood Wizard songs. We wanted to make something that sounded thicker and fuller, and bring in some of that hazy, shoegaze kind of atmosphere. I grew up on alternative guitar records, and this was me really leaning into that instinct, letting the guitars carry more weight and space than usual."
Comprising Cai Burns, Faye Rita Robinson, Sebastian Buestone and Adrian Vitelleschi Cook, the group took a different approach when putting together 'Lucky Life'. Much of the writing happened in South London, with sessions moving away from traditional band rehearsals. Instead, the four-piece gathered at each other's homes to experiment with samples and reshape vocal arrangements — a shift from what had previously been a more solitary creative process for Burns.
Looking ahead, Blood Wizard added: "Lucky Life feels like a turning point for the project and we can't wait to share what's next."
The band released their album 'Grinning William' in 2024. Blood Wizard have a run of headline dates lined up across April, taking in Birmingham, Leeds, Bristol and London's Moth Club. They will also appear at the Young Barbican Takeover Festival on a stage curated by Sad Club Records.
