Caity Baser has released her new single ‘Watch That Girl (She’s Gonna Say It)’ via Capitol Records UK, marking a new direction for the BRIT Award-nominated singer.
The track, co-written with Oh Wonder, features live instrumentation throughout – a first in Baser’s career. The single also represents a shift in lyrical focus for the 22-year-old artist, moving away from her previous relationship-focused narratives.
“I’m back! Surprise!! And I am SO happy to introduce you to my brand new song ‘Watch That Girl (She’s Gonna Say It)’. The start of my new musical journey and I’m so excited to share it with you all,” Baser says. “It is different from what you’ve heard from me before, but hopefully you can hear it’s the same me, and just like always: I’m being as honest and true to myself as possible.”
The release follows Baser’s breakthrough 2024, which saw her mixtape ‘Still Learning’ reach the UK Top 10.
