CATTY has announced her debut EP 'Healing Out Of Spite', inspired by her cancelled Vegas wedding
The EP features seven tracks inspired by CATTY's past few years.
CATTY has announced her debut EP, 'Healing Out Of Spite'.
Set for release on 18th October via AWAL, the 7-track project features previously released singles 'I Dated A Monster', 'I Wish I Gave You Hell', and the EP's title-track, alongside the newly released single 'Actress'.
The EP was inspired by CATTY's cancelled Vegas wedding and explores the fallout from this experience. She says: "This is my first body of work and my god is my body in it. Every single song in here is a lived experience. It truly is the story of the last couple of years of my life. And it's not pretty, but it's fucking entertaining.
"There's an anger in here, for sure, and that's probably what you'll hear the first time you listen to it. But it truly isn't about that for me. It does have a venomous flare, granted, but it is an EP about healing. It's just that sometimes that looks like reconnecting with nature and meditating but sometimes that looks like cussing someone out and letting them go."
