Mercury Prize-winning band English Teacher announce six major UK venues for November 2025 tour, including London’s iconic Roundhouse.

English Teacher have announced their biggest UK headline tour to date, with six shows scheduled for November 2025.

The Mercury Prize-winning quartet will perform at venues across the UK, including Nottingham’s Rock City, Newcastle’s NX, Glasgow’s Barrowland, Manchester’s Albert Hall, Leeds’ O2 Academy, and London’s Roundhouse.

The band’s debut album ‘This Could Be Texas’ was released in 2024 via Island Records, reaching Number 8 in the UK charts. English Teacher placed fifth in BBC Radio 1’s Sound Of 2025 poll and are currently nominated for Best New Artist at this year’s BRIT Awards.

The Leeds-based group consists of Lily Fontaine on vocals, rhythm guitar, and synth, Douglas Frost on drums, piano, and vocals, Nicholas Eden on bass, Lewis Whiting on lead guitar, and Blossom Caldarone on cello, piano, and vocals.
