British-Chinese sibling duo Esme Emerson have released their latest track 'Centipede', available now via Communion Records.

This marks their first release since their earlier EP, 'Applesauce', and coincides with news of their upcoming UK headline tour in 2026, as well as a UK & EU tour with James Marriott.

Esme Lee-Scott explains, "Centipede is a song about comparison being the thief of joy. The lyrics represent an inner dialogue between bickering halves that are festering in insecurity. It’s about immaturity, pride and doubt competing for attention in our minds and fuelling an obsession with becoming something better."

The release is complemented by a self-directed video and artwork by Esme, featuring a 'Centipede' idolised for its numerous legs and capabilities.
