flowerovlove has shared her new single 'new friends', released ahead of her support slot with Olivia Rodrigo at London's Hyde Park.
The track, which arrives as a follow-up to Valentine's Day release 'I've seen ur ex', explores the aftermath of a relationship breakdown. "new friends is a conversational summery pop phenomenon about the state after a breakup where the other person asks to still be friends just to keep u around new friends takes us on a journey of empowerment of knowing you want to be in love and in a lovergirl world," flowerovlove explains.
The 20-year-old Londoner recently debuted the track live while supporting Halsey on select U.S. tour dates. She's set to make her US festival debuts this summer, with appearances scheduled at both Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits.
