Grimes has dropped her brand new single, ‘Shinigami Eyes’.
Teased last week with some cryptic social media posts, the track features an appearance from BLACKPINK’s Jennie in a Brthr-directed video, which you can check out below.
Speaking to Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1, Grimes explained the track was a “label executive decision song”.
“We’re thinking about maybe taking this song, a couple of other songs that don’t fit on the record and doing an EP and just doing that now,” she explained. “Or we’ll just do it in the album, but I definitely don’t want to get caught in a situation where I’m not releasing music for a really long time.”
Grimes has recently been teasing a new project, ‘BOOK 1’, which should follow up on 2020’s album ‘Miss Anthropocene’.
