Heavy Lungs have announced their second album, 'Caviar'

Heavy Lungs are set to release their second album ‘Caviar’ early next year.

The full-length is due on 18th April, and explores themes of failure, burnout, and the desire for a better life.

Lead vocalist Danny Nedelko explains: “One of the main themes of the record is a longing for a better life that currently seems beyond my grasp. The word caviar always possessed connotations of riches, status and excess. So after one late night conversation we realised it’s the perfect title to summarise this desire for elevated existence and success in one simple yet striking word.’

The Bristol punk quartet have also shared the first single from the record, ‘Get Out’, which they describe as: “Simple riff and gang vocals with a Devo style bridge and a theremin solo. Hell yeah.” On the themes of the track, they add: “As for the song itself ‘Get Out’ is about an urgent desire to escape the multitude of knee breaking pressures of life.”
