"The projections have to stop": Ravyn Lenae is reclaiming her story

The success of hit single ‘Love Me Not’ opened every door. Rather than repeat herself, Ravyn Lenae has responded with fearless, expansive new album ‘Blue Island’, arriving ahead of a summer appearance at All Points East.

Hot Milk have dropped a new single, 'The American Machine', critiquing the MAGA movement ahead of their album 'Corporation P.O.P'.
  • +Singer Han Mee says the track is about rejecting hate and oligarchy, not being anti-American.
  • +'Corporation P.O.P' will be released on 27th June and features live recordings produced by Jim Shaw.
  • +The band will celebrate the album's release with UK parties and an autumn tour, supported by Cassyette and Silly Goose.
  • +Tour dates include stops in London, Manchester, and Birmingham, with festival appearances in Europe and the US.
  • Hot Milk have released their new single 'The American Machine' from their upcoming album 'Corporation P.O.P'.

The Manchester band's new single takes aim at right-wing MAGA rhetoric, with singer Han Mee explaining: "It is difficult to love the world right now on the global stage. The imperialistic and dangerous rhetoric coming out the USA cannot be ignored. The language and aggression is becoming more ridiculous every day, it feels like the days of decorum and level-headed governance are in the past. When we look to our cousins across the pond I don't recognise a common goal, it gets stranger with each passing week. This song is not anti-American, it is anti-arsehole, anti-hate, anti-oligarch. Essentially, America can keep its weird shit over there. We do not want a piece of the American machine."

'Corporation P.O.P', produced by the band's Jim Shaw alongside Zach Jones and KJ Strock, was recorded live and is out on 27th June.
The band have announced a series of release week celebrations, including album parties and acoustic performances across the UK. Their autumn headline tour will see support from Cassyette and Silly Goose.
