LIDO Festival have announced a series of special back-to-back performances with headliner Jamie xx, including sets with Skrillex and Nia Archives, as part of their inaugural event at London’s Victoria Park on 7th June.
The newly announced additions also include Shy FX b2b Tim Reaper, Todd Edwards b2b Bullet Tooth, Villager, and Stresshead. These artists join previously announced performers Arca, Sampha, Romy, DJ Harvey (who will play a three-hour set), Panda Bear, John Glacier, DJ Gigola, Shy One, Wookie, and livwutang.
“It’s always an exciting prospect playing in my home town. Having done The Floor and Alexandra Palace this year, it’s time for something else! I’m really looking forward to headlining Victoria Park, curating my own day festival and performing alongside my favourite artists,” says Jamie xx.
The festival, named after Victoria Park’s historic Lido Field, will focus on sustainability and community engagement, working alongside East London Arts and Music to provide opportunities for students in festival production and performance.
