Kae Tempest has released their new single 'Statue In The Square' via Island Records.
The track, produced by Fraser T Smith, marks Tempest's first release since 2022's 'I Saw Light', which featured Grian Chatten and appeared on their album 'The Line Is A Curve'.
"There is power in showing up for yourself and showing up for your people. I hope this song powers you up. I hope it moves you. Take courage my friends we got this," Tempest says.
The single arrives alongside a video filmed in Deptford, directed by Boy dykes, featuring appearances from Princess Julia, Joelle Taylor, Sweatmother, Debbie Smith and Dr Ronx.
