Lewis Capaldi has shared a brand new track called 'Stay Love', which he performed for the first time during his sold-out Madison Square Garden date on 16th April. The song serves as a fifth addition to his 'Survive' EP.
Produced by The Monsters & Strangerz and Michael Pollack, the stripped-back ballad sits alongside existing EP tracks 'Survive', 'Something In The Heavens', 'Almost' and 'The Day That I Die'.
The release also follows recent speculation around a “mystery vinyl” that had been distributed in record stores across the UK and US, featuring a piano-led ballad with pitched-down vocals to disguise the artist. Fans had widely theorised that the track belonged to Capaldi, and that has now been confirmed with the song’s official release, bringing an end to the online guessing game.
Beyond New York, Capaldi's North American run takes in Boston's MGM Music Hall, two nights at Denver's Red Rocks Amphitheatre, and Los Angeles' Hollywood Bowl among other stops.
Following that, he heads to the UK and Ireland for his largest outdoor headline dates to date, with two nights at London's BST Hyde Park on 11th and 12th July among twelve scheduled performances.
