Lily Allen has announced her first album in seven years, and it's out this week

Allen spent her hiatus acting and co-hosting a podcast with Miquita Oliver.

Lily Allen has announced her fifth studio album, 'West End Girl', set for release on 24th October via BMG.

The album features 14 new tracks, all written and recorded over ten days in Los Angeles, with additional sessions in London and New York. This marks Allen's first release in seven years.

Discussing 'West End Girl', Allen says, "I’m nervous. The record is vulnerable in a way that my music perhaps hasn’t been before – certainly not over the course of a whole album. I’ve tried to document my life in a new city and the events that led me to where I am in my life now.

The project sees Allen collaborating with her musical director Blue May, who co-wrote the songs. The album's executive producers include Allen, Seb Chew, Kito, and Blue May. The artwork for 'West End Girl' was designed by Spanish artist Nieves González.
