Lime Garden have released their version of New Order's 'Age of Consent', laying down the track during a live session at Abbey Road Studios.

The band first performed their interpretation of the classic at a headline gig at YES in Manchester earlier this year. Alongside the cover, the Abbey Road session also features reworked versions of material from 'Maybe Not Tonight', their second album due out on 10th April through So Young Records.

Speaking about the cover, frontwoman Chloe Howard said: "Recording at Abbey Road was definitely a bucket list moment, the stuff we joked about since starting the band. We chose to cover Age of Consent as New Order were a major influence on the feel of our new album. We love how they meld guitars and synths to create an 'alternative dance music' sound. Gillian Gilbert in particular is a huge inspiration in terms if her songwriting and those electronic melodies."

The Brighton group have already previewed 'Maybe Not Tonight' through a string of singles including the title track, '23', 'All Bad Parts' and most recently 'Downtown Lover', which also features in the Abbey Road session.
