Loyle Carner has released a new double single ahead of his upcoming album ‘Hopefully!’

Loyle Carner has shared new double single ‘about time / lyin’, taken from his forthcoming album ‘hopefully !’, set for release on 20th June via Island EMI.

‘about time’ sees Carner explore themes of growing up and adolescence, featuring a conversation between father and son. The track is accompanied by b-side ‘lyin’, which showcases Carner’s singing voice alongside acoustic elements and hushed rap verses.

The new release follows recent double single ‘all i need / in my mind’, with both releases previewing ‘hopefully !’. The album’s artwork features colouring by Carner’s child, who decorated photographs left within reach.

Following the album’s release, Carner will embark on a world tour, beginning with a headline slot at this year’s Glastonbury Festival. The tour includes dates across Europe, Australia, and North America, alongside multiple sold-out shows at London’s O2 Academy Brixton.
