Model/Actriz have shared new single ‘Doves’, taken from their upcoming full-length ‘Pirouette’.

The Brooklyn four-piece’s latest track explores themes of comfort and liberation. The new album is set for release on 2nd May via True Panther in the Americas and Dirty Hit for the rest of the world.

“Doves was the first song on Pirouette to have fully completed lyrics,” frontman Cole Haden explains. “Initially, its story wasn’t entirely clear to me, but it ultimately became the gateway to the rest of the album’s writing. Within the song, I sing from an empty cathedral, but on a broader level, it explores how a place that once felt like a sanctuary can, over time, become a cage. Ultimately, the challenge then lies in finding the courage to step beyond it. The song is about trusting that the effort to break free is worth it.”

The new single follows ‘Cinderella’, with both tracks featuring on the eleven-track album. ‘Pirouette’ was co-produced and mixed by Seth Manchester and mastered by Matt Colton at Machines With Magnets in Pawtucket, RI.
