Mura Masa explores self-love with his new single ‘I’m Really Hot (For Myself)’

The video stars twin dancers and arrives via his independent Peckham imprint.

Artists: Mura Masa

Mura Masa has released a new single, ‘I’m Really Hot (For Myself)’, via Pond Recordings, arriving with a video by regular collaborators The Reids. The track was premiered during his headline set at Body Movements in London last weekend and features twins Jay and Georgia Lance performing in the accompanying clip.

Speaking about the visual, Mura Masa says, “The video is a raw exploration of literal self love, featuring a mind bending performance of movement and camerawork from twin dancers. It’s supposed to feel as sexy as the song, and kind of literalise the idea of not being hot for anybody but yourself.”

The single follows last year’s ‘Curve 1′, which shifted focus back towards club-facing material. Alongside his own work, recent credits include co-writing PinkPantheress’ ‘Turn It Up’ and contributing remixes for Troye Sivan’s ‘Honey’. Mura Masa has also established The Pond, an independent label and creative space in Peckham.
