The track follows her sophomore EP, 'Someone Who Knows', which dropped last year.

Mychelle has dropped a new track, ‘Hurts’.

Her first track of 2023, ‘Hurts’ follows on from last year’s ‘Tightrope’ and tracks the sad realisation of a relationship on the verge of ending. Produced with Hugo M. Hardy, it drops alongside a visual directed by Thea Gajic and arrives after her second EP, ‘Someone Who Knows’.

On ‘Hurts’, Mychelle explains: “This song came together during my first session with Hugo. I really enjoyed working with him as he was able to draw out the indie sounds that I like. Having played guitar and been a busker for years, I’ve always enjoyed mixing the guitar vibes of folk and indie music with soul and R&B”.
