One True Pairing has released a reflective new single, 'Human Frailty'
The track explores themes of acceptance and bravery.

One True Pairing, the solo project of former Wild Beasts member Tom Fleming, has released a new single.
'Human Frailty' - a song of acceptance - is taken from Fleming's upcoming second solo album 'Endless Rain', set for release on 25th October via Domino.
He says of the track: "Well we try and we try and it has a good laugh at our expense. It's not a fight you win. That's the thing about bravery, it'll use you up. It doesn't matter if you see it coming or not. I've been listening to a lot of country? In general this sort of wisened country/folk stuff suits me more as I get older."
The creation of 'Endless Rain' was inspired by a period of personal difficulty for Fleming. He reflects, "It was off the back of a lot of personal difficulties, a loss of income, a loss of house, everything. It rained solidly for about a week." Fleming spent time in Cumbria, contemplating his life and observing the rainfall. "The brown, mucky water rising and the creatures that live in it," he recalls.
