Pip Blom have a new EP on the way, ‘Grip’

Amsterdam indie band Pip Blom announces new EP ‘Grip’ and shares synth-infused single ‘Ring’, marking their first independent release.

Artists: Pip Blom

Pip Blom have announced their new EP ‘Grip’, set for release on 6th June, alongside details of their ‘Club Grip’ tour and new single ‘Ring’.

The Amsterdam-based indie band’s latest release marks their first independent project following their tenure with Heavenly Recordings. The EP was written and recorded in Pip’s home studio by Pip Blom, Tender Blom, and Darek Mercks, with four-time Grammy-winning producer and mixer Claudius Mittendorfer involved in the production process.

“I’ve had a pretty rough year with lots of difficult events in my private life happening. And throughout this period I started to notice how much I craved to find some sort of grip. It’s difficult to have this overpowering sense of searching for something to hold on to, as unfortunately, as we all know, you can’t really get that. Life is very unpredictable,” Pip explains about the EP’s themes.
