Ava Gore and
Ethan P. Flynn have released
'Black Cherry Liqueur' under their
Silver Gore project.
Available now via Island Records, it marks the duo's first material since their autumn 2025 debut EP '
Dogs In Heaven' and sees them exploring themes of trust and whether you should rely on anyone or anything.
Speaking about the song, Ava said: "It's about risk-taking, letting go and understanding that things will not turn out how you planned. It's about being drunk on the absurdity and unexpectedness of life. But accidentally poisoning aspects of your life in doing this. Always welcoming surprise and the joy of the unexpected. Being destructive and building in the ashes."
Looking ahead, Silver Gore plan to release further new material throughout the summer, accompanied by a string of festival bookings across the UK and Europe.
Among the upcoming dates is a takeover of Stoke Newington's Next Door Records 2 on 12th May, where the band will curate an evening blending full live sets with DJ appearances from special guests.
