Spacey Jane are teasing their third album ‘If That Makes Sense’, set for release on 9th May, with new single ‘Through My Teeth’.
The Australian indie-rock band’s latest track serves as the album opener, following previous singles ‘How To Kill Houseplants’ and ‘All The Noise’. The new album was produced by Mike Crossey, known for his work with The 1975, Arctic Monkeys, and Wolf Alice, with additional songwriting collaborations from Jackson Phillips and Sarah Aarons.
“We’re really happy to have this song out in the world. It’s one of our favourites off the record and we can’t wait for you to hear it. It has a longing and nostalgia that made us all fall in love with the song – it goes and goes until the very last fill and we felt it was the perfect way to start the record,” the band say.
‘If That Makes Sense’ marks the follow-up to 2022’s ‘Here Comes Everybody’ and 2020’s ‘Sunlight’. The thirteen-track album explores themes of falling in and out of love, overcoming trauma, and rebuilding.
The band are set to support the release with a headline tour across Australia and New Zealand.
