Introducing Love It If We Played It – a one-off club night celebrating the return of The 1975

  • June 28, 2022

On 7th July, The 1975 make their big return.

With teasers, mysterious posters and an ever-decreasing countdown, the band are expected to offer up the first taster of new music, ‘Part of the Band’.

The first fresh material since 2020’s ‘Notes on a Conditional Form’ – an album which, thanks to the pandemic, never got the tour it deserved – we’re throwing a party to both celebrate and bring fans of the band back together after two long years of waiting.

Love It If We Played It (Sorry – Ed) is a one off club night to celebrate the return of The 1975. Held at The Book Club on Shoreditch’s Leonard Street, we’ll kick off just a short while after whatever it is The 1975 are counting down to debuts for a night filled with music from and associated with the band as a celebration of one of the most inventive and enigmatic acts on Planet Pop.

Tickets will set you back £5 plus fees in advance, with all profits going to The Outside Project – an LBTIQ+ organisation based in London whose work centres around members of the LGBTIQ+ community who feel endangered, who are homeless/‘hidden’ homeless and feel that they are on the outside of services due to historical and present prejudice in society and in their homes.

You can get tickets from Dice here, and grab all the details from the poster below.
