The Get Up Kids have announced UK and EU tour dates for 'Something to Write Home About''s 25th anniversary

The Get Up Kids have announced a UK and European tour for 2025.

The dates will celebrate the 25th anniversary of their album 'Something to Write Home About'. The Kansas City band recently released a digital reissue of the LP featuring 12 rare or previously unreleased demos.

A physical version, featuring an expanded 28-page booklet, is due out on 25th September.

Reflecting on the album's creation, frontman Matt Pryor says: "Our first record is what it is - its imperfections are one of the things that people like about it. But I personally wanted us to record something that sounded like a real band, that sounded professional and, you know, big."

The tour, which includes dates across Europe and the UK, will kick off on 22nd May 2025 in Athens .
