Check out The Night Café‘s just dropped new EP, ‘For Better Days’

  • Stephen Ackroyd
  • April 23, 2021

The Night Café have released their brand new EP, ‘For Better Days’.

The first collection of new material from the quartet in nearly 18 months, it follows up on August 2019’s debut album ‘0151’.

Speaking about ‘For Better Days frontman Sean Martin says: “‘For Better Days’ is what it says on the tin. This last year has been a tough one so we were making rammers to cheer us up to be hopeful for the better days to come.”

The release of ‘For Better Days’ comes alongside a video for new single ‘Think It Over’, self-directed by the band.

‘”Think It Over’ was the first tune I wrote for the EP,” Sean explains. “[I] really wanted to just have a happy song that was fun to play. It captures the emotions people experience when they’re questioning whether their life if going in the right direction.

This video was really fun to make as well. Getting aggy with the fisheye out the window of the blue fizza risking it for the old guard. And you know we be crankin’ the saturation. Heavyboy affiliated.”

You can check out the clip for ‘Think It Over’ below. ‘For Better Days’ is available via streaming services now. The Night Café head out on a headline UK tour in February 2022. You can read our interview with the band from the latest edition of Dork here.
