Turnstile have soundtracked a new Taco Bell commercial featuring skateboarding icon Tony Hawk, with two tracks from their album 'Never Enough' appearing in the spot.
The Baltimore hardcore quintet's songs 'Seein' Stars' and 'Birds' feature in the advertisement for Hawk's Build Your Own Luxe Cravings Box campaign. The collaboration continues the band's relationship with Taco Bell's Feed The Beat programme, which previously featured their tracks 'Holiday' and 'T.L.C. Turnstile Love Connection' in commercials for Nacho Fries in 2022.
"Taco Bell was my fuel in the early days. It kept me going when I was chasing a dream," Hawk says. "I gave myself a daily Taco Bell allowance and practically lived on it while skating from morning to night. So, getting to create my own box with Taco Bell along with co-creating a line of new in-game cosmetics? It's more than just cool, it's a full circle moment. I hope it inspires others chasing their passion to keep pushing, keep grinding, and maybe grab a taco along the way."
The campaign includes a limited drop of 500 custom skateboard decks on 24th June, with the first fifteen signed by Hawk himself. The decks are designed to match an in-game cosmetic from 'Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4'. Taco Bell Rewards Members will also have the chance to claim one of 50,000 early-access demo codes for the game.
