Villanelle have dropped their new single 'Measly Means': "It’s about being hungover. It’s a bit of a theme"
Their debut EP, produced by James Neville, will be released in 2026.

Villanelle - Gene Gallagher (vocals, guitar), Ben Taylor (guitar), and Jack Schiavo (bass) - have announced the release of their latest single 'Measly Means'.
It's an early teaser ahead of their debut EP, expected next year, following their debut single 'Hinge'.
Gene says: "'Measly Means' we laboured over for ages. At first it sounded too light and lovey, but when Ben added the bends and sustains that made it feel like Smashing Pumpkins, I was like, that’s it. Like 'Hinge', I wrote the lyrics when I was about fourteen. It’s about being hungover. It’s a bit of a theme."
