Watch Killer Mike’s new videos for ‘Motherless’ and ‘Don’t Let The Devil’

The visuals pay homage to Mike's late mother and form a short film when watched together.

The highly anticipated new album from Killer Mike is almost here, and the rapper has shared two new music videos as a sneak peek of what’s to come.

The visuals for ‘Motherless’ and ‘Don’t Let The Devil’, directed by Shane Smith and Davi Peña, respectively, pay homage to Mike’s late mother and form a short film when watched together.

Speaking about the videos, Mike said, “These aren’t meant to be sad videos or eulogies. This is a celebration of a bad ass Black girl from the westside of Atlanta. She’s been affectionately called OG Mama Niecy by the many people she helped stay on their path.”

Killer Mike’s album ‘Michael’, his first solo release since ‘R.A.P. Music’ in 2012, is due out on June 16th. Since then, the rapper has worked on four studio albums alongside producer and rapper El-P as part of their group, Run the Jewels.
