Whitney are back with new single 'Darling' ahead of their summer tour dates
Chicago duo Whitney release 'Darling', their first single since 'Spark', and announce extensive North American summer tour dates.

Whitney have released a new single titled 'Darling', marking their first new music since their 2023 album 'Spark'.
The Chicago duo describe the track as a concise musical statement, drawing inspiration from similar brief but impactful songs. "'There's something to be said for a 2 minute-or-less gem that aims for the heart," the band say. "Songs like 'Gonna Hurry' by Dolly Parton and 'Take Care' by Big Star come to mind—poignantly written goodbyes emphasized by the fact that both songs are over as quick as they started. In the case of 'Darling' the song transitions into a second act that serves to accept a goodbye instead of leaving it up in the air, but we think the song ultimately feels like it's over too soon in the best way possible."
